All students in Years 7-10 are placed into a house. There are 4 houses, Creighton, Fitzwilliam, Rockingham and Wentworth.

Each half terms students complete challenges and competitions on behalf of their house. Points are awarded and a league table with the running total is displayed in assembly and around the academy. Points are accumulated throughout the year and the climax of the annual house competition is on sports day at the end of the year.

Every student can contribute to the success of their house and competitions encompass a range of activities including creative writing, drama and sport.
